Fresh

I’ve spent the last few years creating more and more of my own recipes, and just knowing that I should be doing something with this great love of mine. I started doing a weekly meal prep for my husband and a few friends that were super easy and healthy. Once you get the hang of it, it’s an easy process that helps keep you on track whether you’re wanting to shed a few pounds, control calorie intake, quit eating out, or just eat healthier food!

A lot of my meal prep recipes have interchangeable proteins and vegetables so you can create your own, which I strongly encourage! I created this space to share new weekly meal prep recipes, and they’ll all be saved here for your convenience!

Meal prep tips and tricks:

Buy more than you think you need! I can’t even tell you how many times I thought one pound, or one head of something would be enough! It takes awhile to really figure out how far certain things will get you. If you’re unsure, just buy extra! If you have extra at the end, work it into your weeknight meals!

02

Get two sets of meal prep containers, one with a divider and one without! Sometimes it's great to be able to separate your food, put a condiment in one of the divided sections, or add some fresh fruit!

Chop Chop! If you know you're going to be limited on time, chop your produce right away (or when you have time) and throw it in the fridge. When it's time to do your meal prep, all you have to do is season and cook!

The same goes for cooking meat! There are times that I know I’m doing meal preps with chicken, but I’m also doing some chicken for our weeknight meals. I cook it all at once (usually using my old oven method) and just season differently for whatever my meals look like that week. This is a huge time and energy saver!

READ all the the way through the recipe before you shop and cook. This way you will for sure have everything you need and your game plan. Staying focused and organised makes it such an easy process. Get all the ingredients out and just GO! Almost all my meal preps, start to finish, take place in under 45 min. That’s 5 healthy meals, in less than an hour!
